Lunch Time

​We are getting close to halfway point of today's ride. Stopping for a quick snack.

As I ride so many memories of my life with David run through my mind. I am coming to the conclusion that touring is much like the grieving process. You must take it one day at a time because if you look at the big picture, it can be overwhelming. So, as you come to the mountains, you must dig deep to get to the top. And when there, you breathe and know that you CAN make it and that you will be okay. 

I am in my happy place on my bike and knowing that I am fulfilling our dream.
