Settled for the night

After spending 2 days at our hosts, Bob and Barb, they rode with us to the train station and we said our goodbyes. The train was running an hour late because of track damage, mud slides and more rain. This then turned into a longer wait and train hopping. The schedule was changed and the farthest we could get was San Juan Capistrano in hopes of escaping the rain. We ended our day riding only 15 miles on a great paved bike trail to San Clementine State Beach before it was dark. We even enjoyed a bit of the sun peeking thru occasionally.

I'm learning that you have to go with the flow. While you make a plan, it doesn't always work out and you can either stress over it or just enjoy the moment. I am choosing to enjoy the moment. Hopefully in 2 days we turn toward the East and start our climb…
