Sorry for being a day behind. Yesterday was a hard day with a lot of traffic, noise, climbing and 67.4 miles. I had to go off our route to the Trek Shop in Austin for a replacement of a part that I needed in Tempe. Anyways, I got it taken care of, stopped by Walgreens for an antibiotic and made it to Caleb’s house. I was hoping that the swelling and pain would go down once I had the antibiotic and a good night's sleep but made the decision this morning that I would stay at Caleb’s again tonight and catch up with Hendrika tomorrow. Just hoping that another good night's sleep in a bed will help along with the meds.
So today, I’m in the bed taking meds.

Antibiotic? What happened? Did you see a doctor?
ReplyDeletesorry, I didnt say why… wasnt thinking straight this morning. I have an infection, my dentist at home said I need a root canal so had an antibiotic sent to Austin for me. But its not helping any so I am going to a dentist here in the morning to see exactly whats going on. Im not stopping my ride though, just going to take care of this while I am at a friends house and will finish the ride when I heal. Hoping there are some riders coming up behind me that I can jump in with.
ReplyDeletePraying for you! Love and give my boy a BIG hug!❤️🙏
ReplyDeleteThankful to be here for a couple days..
DeleteGood to know you're taking care this. Dental infections can be very serious.
ReplyDeleteHear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings
ReplyDeletethanks Deb.
